I had to do an areola joke at some point… π
I love Jeff’s grabbing his chest in sympathy of Lorraine’s pain of washing off the marker on her boobs.Β So, who autographed her boobs? Find out Friday!
Oh, and that jet is a Hawker 700, made from 1977 to 1983.Β For those of you new to the comic, Jeff’s dad is a self-made millionaire and lives in California. Thus explaining how they’re going to meet up with the studio lawyer in California on Friday. Convenient.
Going back to the early ’70s for a great album track from Mountain’s “Climbing” album.Β “Mississippi Queen” over shadows the other tracks on that album and this one is a great rocker.Β Also, it talks about flying on an airplane and how appropriate is that? Β Or the other choice i had was “Jet” by Paul McCartnery. I went with Mountain, but am including the McCa song too.

areola as a zero! bwahahahahaha! π i assume members get a version of that polaroid once things die down? π
man, i still think it’s funny that there was a record label called ariola. granted, not the same spelling, but i’d bet dollars to donuts that that’s wot they meant.
hahahahahah … the members are gonna enjoy that polaroid. π
may is coming up soon. my birthday’s coming again too. yeesh.
Do not do a Google picture search on areola. π
Good thing he wasn’t writing down directions and needed to use a body part for the letter “V” !! o.O …. now theres something for the members area! [smirk]
Great choice of music today Byron! I had the fortune to see Mountan a couple times back in the day with Felix Pappalardi, incredible, high energy shows that still stand out among the literally 100’s I’ve seen over the last 40+ years… Leslie could really move, too, for such a large guy! I don’t think there was a bad cut on Climbing, & in addition to “Mississippi Queen” – “Never in My Life”, “Theme for an Imaginary Western”, “For Yasgur’s Farm”… all hold up. I always loved “…Rainbow” especially for Laing’s drum line on that one. By the way, dee, Ariola was a German label originally – maybe they didn’t know the proper spelling (or, knew it, but mis-spelled it to get it past censors or up-tight record industry wags…)
german or not, they *HAD* to have known damn well what they were doing when they named their label “ariola”. π that misspelling was on purpose, i’m sure. they were probably giggling when they did it. i know i woulda been.
Damn I played that album a lot, back when I still had all my vinyl. Whenever I got in a mood for some Creedence, would work that in with the Allman’s, New Riders and Little Feat. Never did upgrade my Mountain albums to CD, so it has been …. all of 20 years and some since I queued ’em up.
Yeah. Lorraine’s chestal region. π great use of implied imagery to deliver the punchline. π
‘Ariola…lovely name for a girl…’ π
Ha, you try doing hard time at a record label named for a section of tit!
hahahahahah … doing hard time at ANY major label is difficult … but i think i’d find it just that much easier if it were named after an awesome body part. π
most record execs are a buncha b00bs anyway. you know that from experience, i’m sure. π if i had been stuck on a label like that, i’d have had a really difficult time not making “this exec’s a b00b” joke all the time. π
by the by … loved yer response my “BEEG BADA-BOOM!” … π i’ve missed yer witty responses. yer the only one who got that joke.
AZIZ! LIGHT! π
and don’t push the little red button. just the yellow one. π
You’re hanging in the wrong sloth-rescue facility, your Dee-ness! Trust me – millions of otherwise perfectly normal folk know, understand *and* use Fifth Element references. Because they are, after all, cooler than bow ties π
wot about spinning bowties? π
Pwned by fezzes, of course…
How’d you get it to look so 3-D ??????? Very NICE WORK !!!!!!!!
lmao Next time, use watercolor.
