I’ve seen videos of guys who actually get their lawn mowers flying over trees and stuff like an R/C plane. I just don’t want to be under the damn thing when it crashes. Ouch.
A little Robyn and Lorraine time. I’m still freakin’ tired from the Con and the work I’ve had to catch up on for taking Thursday and Friday “off” from my freelance work. A client’s site got hacked (thank you Network Solutions) and that shot Tuesday in the ass. So the backgrounds on this one are really rushed, but hey, at least I’m drawing the comic again!
I had a wonderful time at the convention and especially to all those that saw the comic for the first time. The banner (of the comic book cover) brought mostly smiles and only a few looks of disgust (the ol’ pot leaf logo does that… hmmmm….).
Please take note that there is a NEW STORE page right here and has all the C2E2 products listed. Everything ships for FREE in the USA and there are all limited quantities. Conventions are very expensive to do, so if you can lend a hand and buy some of the left over products, that will help make sure I pay my bills this month. Thank you!
I’m pulling a little Slade out of my pocket today. This song counts as Slade was a 70s band even though this song came out in 1982. Love loopholes. It’s a fun toe-tapper with a catchy little riff. And, Robyn’s uncle’s lawn mower may never be seen again, so the song title fits very well (remember that Lorraine and Robyn rent a house from Robyn’s Uncle… that’s from way back in 2008!).

Check out around 4:00 for Tim’s take on mowing lawns.

Glad you had fun. The banner looked great.
Thankfully I landscaped my entire yard so NO MORE MOWING!!
Nice one, Robyn. You can never have too much BHP.
XXX (Cuz I Luv You)
I mean what was wrong with the Briggs & Stratton engine that was in that puppy to begin with? So, Robyn was the original Tim “The Tool-man” Taylor eh? More Power
I remember the video for this song, way back when the medium was just starting to get popular. It was like the Highland Games done to music. The expression on the faces of the ladies in the last panel is classic!
That’s awesome. Leave it to Robyn to never leave well enough alone. The last panel is awesome, I love their expressions. Robyn sure has a way of fixing a situation that doesn’t need fixing, like when she made a new convertible for their road trip. 🙂
I’ve seen the R/C lawnmowers you talk about in the first paragraph of your post. They are actually made of the same material as R/C planes, they just look very realistic to a real mower. It’s pretty trippy to see the first time, just the mere shape of them doesn’t look like they’d ever get airborne, but they do.
I feel as though I should start grunting like Tim Allen. Thanks for that.
Re the accompanying ‘Polaroid’ – um, ‘the ER Room’? You lot have an Emergency Room Room, eh? 😛
