Lorraine… a nun? Parish the thought. Ha! I crack me up… I worked for a rehabilitation center in the 80s that was run by a “Nunery” (as I like to call Convents). St. Francis Sisters, I believe. They were a fun bunch to hang around. I am not Catholic (by any stretch of the imagination) and I was not uneasy around them… they were just other folks I worked with. They could party too… as only Nuns can. So they enjoyed me a ton.
More on Monday as we unravel Bud’s and the gang’s history which will lead up to Bud telling a story that takes us back to 1977. We’ll get there in time, trust me.
I like a variety of music and this song by Finger Eleven comes up on my iTunes playlist a lot. Great song to draw by. And Lorraine is a Paralyzer at any age. Enjoy!

Great return of Lorraine! I put nuns in the same category as school marm teachers… Kinda wild under the standard uniform. Maybe that’s just my fantasy…

I would think a great Nun band name would be Punk Penguins, or Party Penguins….or how about “Breaking the Habit”.

LOL! Been there, almost. At my 20 yr. HS reunion, the gal that had been the biggest partier & uh,… least inhibited let’s say, (we had dubbed her our “student body”) showed up, an ordained minister. had alot of jaws dropping! Can’t wait to get the story behind this one!
Well, given how she’s dressed under the habit, I’m reasonably certain that it’s a practical joke .. and a pretty good one. Guess we’ll find out soon enough … 🙂
Pretty clearly it’s been a few years & been out of touch, but Plan 9 actually cut an album! Hope it was an LP .. which would be how many songs ..? About 12-ish, maybe? Drop a few hints as to their content and hold a contest (or two) for playlist entries and lyrics …
Considering her wild youth, the years haven’t been too bad on her. Still quite a curvy looker. Ahhh, the miracle of cartoon physics! Old habits are hard to break.

I once wrote a song about nuns called “Break the habit”. I’m bad too!
Oddly enough, a couple of weeks ago I dug into the past and picked up the CD of “Bad Habits” by The Monks. Not much known in the USA, I think, but the single “Nice legs shame about the face” was a big hit in the UK in 1979. I could definitely go for Lorraine on that album cover. 🙂
I have to say, I have a hard time imagining her slapping someone’s hands with a ruler for bad handwriting!
