Bob Seger’s “Her Strut” from his album “Against the Wind” breaks a rule of my song selection… it’s from 1980. But, Bob Seger was big not only in the 80s, but the 70s and the 60s, so I’m letting this one pass. Besides, it’s one of Seger’s “heavier” songs and not only that Bob performs the guitar solo, albeit a simple one, but still it fit the song. One could cover this song by really doing it with a true heavy metal guitar sound and it would sound great. Anyone? Hello, UNDUN? Do covers? 🙂

Lynda Carter rocked. Before she played Wonder Woman she sang in a band for a while. Gary Burghoff (Radar from M*A*S*H) was the drummer.
And she has indeed mantained her hawtness. Did you see her as the principal in Sky High? Still yowza after all these years.
Remember the WW episode with Martin Mull as the flute-playing rock star? Gotta love Hollywood’s image of cool… though I suppose some of the glam rockers really did look a bit like that. *shudder*

I hate to say this cause they’re an awful band but Nickelback could do a great cover of that Seger tune. I could totally hear it.
