One sharp reader noticed that Lorraine in the previous comic had stated that Bud was “the only male friend who hadn’t tried to have sex” with her. Um, remember Jeff? Does this mean Thor’s Hammer found it’s way into our hot-blooded Italian? We’ll have to find out.

Harry Nilsson is a favorite of mine for songs that just make you laugh as well as being some damn good tunes. This song has always been a favorite of mine, and rings true with Bud today, but is gonna be hard now that his (still unnamed) daughter has walked in on him and Lorraine!

What’re the odds of both the girls showing up on the same day after so many years? Well, such silly arguments about statistics & physics in such a universe will only result in cat girl fatalities.
Better yet to speculate: Thor may have taken a mighty swing of his Hammer, but the Norse gods are known for their flaws and imperfections. It is not assured that he connected, only that he tried.

Hopefully it won’t compromise their friendship the way it did mine, we’ll see. Great song btw! I love Harry Nilsson, & Nilsson Schmilsson was his absolute best imo. That album included “Without You”, “Jump Into the Fire”, “Coconut”, The Moonbeam Song”… not a bad cut on it! Also, Wikipedia it sometime & see the personnel list! KILLER!
