I have the corrected comic up now.
“The Show Must Go On” means many different things to just about anyone you talk to. To me, it’s a tiny little song on Floyd’s “The Wall” and a lousy Three Dog Night single from 1973. It also is a Queen song from Freddie’s last album (I think). Of course, it really means no matter what the show must go on! Like earlier I did not get the comic colored in time for the 12:01am posting. So it went up in Black & White until I got the coloring done. For print, B&W is fine, but on the web it just looks soooo naked and cold.
Now we take the story arc into the band. Perhaps on their way to their first gold single? We’ll see… 😀
Nice to have Queen referenced for a title page. It figures that female Bud would be also having “that time of the month” just when the band finally gets a decent break……….
Whew! Good to know Bud isn’t late!
LOL! I hadn’t thought of that! Made my day, Kevin!
😀
RE: vince – Yep, the road to fame is littered with all types of obstacles. Cramps being one of them! A friend of mine related how being in an all-girl band at that time of the month was just sheer joy too!
😀
heh, poor bud.
Speaking of queen there, what do you think of “Queen + Paul Rodgers”?
RE: Dan – I bought the new album from iTunes and gave it a listen. There was stuff I liked and stuff I didn’t, which was typical of most Queen albums for me. If you think about it, there’s a lot of Queen music people never heard of.
For me, their best two albums were their first two as they were mostly rock and roll and a lot heavier sounding. But, I love Queen just the same.
And also the title of the song that allowed Leo Sayer to break out into the “singer” part of singer/songwriter.
Love the halter tops but Buddet could buy her own if not a T shirt short shorts and heels will do. Mini dress can be handy wore a powder blue light one with go go boots to a music festival. Do women really get cramps wearing dresses I’m not gods gift to woman so how would I know.
