Let’s Play Two! A Double-Header!
A first for the comic! A double-wide page spread that, in print form, would be continuous across the comic book, but here on the internet, that’s not possible. So if the page looks a little odd, simply proceed to Page 10 and you’ll see what’s going on. I’ll give the full lowdown on the next page!
But first, enjoy a fun, romping song from the Talking Heads that describes the gang getting lost and being on a “Road to Nowhere”!
I am not above taking requests or suggestions and this song from the Charlie Daniels Band is fitting for this page as well!
They used a AAA map, should have taken a membership out for the trip so someone else could change their tire 😉
At least they didn’t run into this situation from ’73…

“Well, I think I’m gonna reroute me trip. I wonder if anybody think I’d flip if I went to L.A. via Omaha.”
Classic song! I should add it to this post. 🙂
Bud should have turned to Buddet wore a burgundy mini dress and heels. So he can trick some one into changing tires since it involve heavy lifting tried it hard work worth avoiding. Then again Charles Daniels is scary being a redneck with a shotgun makes one feel like the bunny. Reason enough to do it yourself party pooper (Charles Daniels) nonetheless Robyn is scarier.
Bud should have been using the trip-tik, not whatever it is that he is looking at. A trip-tik has that little curly binder at the top. 😉
TripTiks are great until you miss an exit as they included only the route you were supposed to be on. Here, Bud missed where I90 splits of from I80 (an easy mistake) so the TripTik was useless once he realized what was going on, thus why he’s holding a regular map.
In this case, I didn’t have the space to work in those details, so an explanation from me is in order. Readers can’t read what’s in my head. 😉
