The many, many uses of the handy vibrator! But wait! There’s more…
It’s “second-banana” day (no pun intended of today’s topic) as Jeff and Robyn get to take center stage of the comic without Bud or Lorraine around to take the spotlight!
Jeff is reading J. R. R. Tolkien’s “The Silmarillion” which was released in 1977 by Tolkien’s son. I’m not a big Tolkien fan (I read very little literature… no time with this many webcomics on the internet!) but this seemed a cool thing for Jeff to be reading.
The comic’s title of course is a great twelve bar blues/rock and roll song by Bill Haley and the Comets from 1954 and they’d never guess how I’m using it today!
😀
Ah, yes, the old “Plastic Fantastic Lover.”
Wow, that must be the commercial version of vibrators to do that to the tree, ^_^ . Jeff looks way to happy to be reading “The Silmarillion”.
Thanks Byron, I’m really enjoying your comic. There are only two books in my life I was unable to force myself to finish reading, The Silmarillion and Don Quixote, there are two straight chapters in Don Quixote where all they do is list the titles of books and whether to burn them or not and I couldn’t force myself to make it past that. 😆 Still, your squirrels are my favorites. They got a couch, a vibrator, enough nuts for winter…
Is that a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the tree?
Hmm, it just hit me today that we’re assuming the squirrels took Rodney to vibrate all the nuts loose. Maybe they took him for another reason and the nuts falling was an unexpected side effect. o_O
