And now back to 1977… no technology allowed, please.
Bud’s daughter is school age, say a senior in high school around 18 or 19. So we’re hinting at what happens with Bud and Lily. All we know is they meet now and at some point get married in 1987. Hmmm…. I will have to write the rest now. I have ideas…
🙂
Today’s song is by Nickleback from 2006. I figured it was a song a senior in high school would know and would text to a friend when trapped by an aging father who is stuck in nostalgic story time. The obvious would have been “Save Me” from Smallville… oh, I’m sure Bud’s daughter watches that…I think he’s cute and I’m a guy…
🙂
So.. She was born in 1990?
Bud becomes a Luddite?
(Allison Mack is the only reason to watch Smallville. I try to ignore everyone else.)
This plot keeps getting better. You’ve become quite the storyteller as well as all-around nice artist.
no self-respecting person from the current or last few generations listens to bands like nickelback or creed and actually *likes* them.
Can’t wait till the next one!
I think it’s her hairstyle that makes her look old(er). She looks like Betty Crocker or a born again or something. I get it that she’s conservative compared to her dad, like in Family Ties, but Bud wouldn’t bring up a born again would he?
I agree with Kevin, Smallville sux but Allison Mack is worth watching!
To quote the current genration… OMG!
I met (read between the sheets) my future wife in 1977, We married in 1986!
She’s also the older woman!
Good thing you’re Chicago based or I’d be asking who we know
