Lorraine to the rescue… or will her nickname come into play? Only your hair dresser will know for sure. And she was a hairdresser too! How handy…
And yes, that’s the Mystery Machine is making yet another appearance in the comic. If you’re going to be doing some snooping around, you have to do it in the Mystery Machine. You can catch the other appearances HERE and HERE.
I am a fan of noise… good noise. And the album version of Van Halen’s cover of “Pretty Woman” has an intro called “Intruder” that rarely gets played but gets cranked by me anytime I hear it on the radio. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, so you can skip the noise and just go for “Pretty Woman” below. If not, enjoy some noise on a Monday morning!

I loved that intro, but I could never stand to hear their cover without it and never needed to thanks to Boston’s legendary WBCN!
I don’t know if your doctor has brought this up, and I may be way off since I’m not a doctor, but could there be anything environmental that is causing your symptoms? Considering your wife’s illness (maybe completely unrelated) but maybe worth mentioning to your doctor in case there’s something in your home that might further harm you or your family.
Thanks for the great strips, and I hope you all feel better soon!
Old man…. Jenkins-eh? I’m starting to think that name is being used in the wrong way bub! [smirk]
Enquiring minds want to know *exactly* where Lorraine’s wire is hidden. Just saying.
😀
Gives a new meaning to “Down to the wire”…!
THIS.
By the way, Where’d Bud get the vee-wee van, new wheels?
She isnt bad, just drawn that way 🙂
Great strip. Great comic so far. I’ve been looking through your past strips and your podcasts. Keep it up!
This is a double edged sword, you know. On one hand she will distract them, on the other they might just look close enough to find the wire.
Love Lorraine’s hot red dress where she get it but I don’t trust Nick maybe because he’s grubby, maybe the film noir jargon maybe the cheap 38 caliber revolver or it could be he stole the Mystery Machine from Scoobi Doo. Fred and Thema are going to figure out you stole their van and won’t get away with it thanks to meddling kids. Bud should have been Buddet in a little black dress then catching a confession would be easier. That Nick is so incompetent how he ever got to be a private detective or get a handgun permit is beyond me. Should have hired Fred, Thema, Daphine, Shaggy and Scoobi Doo they’d get to the bottom of this without the jargon see.
