Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone out there! Bud and Jeff have the right idea how to handle the holiday stress.
An update on me. The past month I started some anti-depressants. The first prescription made me overly tired. I was sleeping all the time. So, last week, my doctor switched out to a different type of anti-depressant. These drugs are, from my understanding, help balance out your brain chemistry so you can function a little more normally. With the transition, I’m still tired, but not as much as I was. But the outcome of these meds has been I’ve been completely unmotivated to do much of anything, including drawing of any type. I think this new medication is helping as I was able to crank out this comic. We’ll see.
As far as steady updates, that’s still going to be February before I start putting out the full page comics again. In the meantime, please bear with me during this phase as I get myself “normalized” as can be. Β It’s been a rough ride this year, but things are getting better.
Here’s a rockin’ version of “Silent Night” for you to kick back and play some air-guitar too.

A very Merry Christmas to you and yours, Byron. Wishing you all the best and hoping that you’ll soon be feeling much, much better. Here’s to a fantastic 2015.
I’m going to make sure 2015 is a great year. It’ll start off on a much better note than 2014, so thus far it looks to be on target. π
Bud and Jeff do have the right idea, mellow out and have a peaceful and happy Christmas. I’m also betting that those two are flying higher than Santa and his reindeer. π
That they are. π
I’m willing to bet that those “Creative Juices” running around with your brain chemistry win out in the end!
Thanks, Dave! I’m sure they will too. π
Merry Christmas and take all the time you need to get “normalized.” …just not TOO normalized–creatively speaking, that is.
Thanks, Eric! My “normal” is anything but normal, so no fears there. π
Don’t worry, man–soon as I get that ‘1977: The Cartoon’ fancast up, it’ll be a belated holiday gift you’ll never forget!
Let me know when it’s posted! And thank you! π
Reminds me of the old Skyborn drive in movie theater at the West end of the approach to Wright Patterson Air Force Base. During the late 70s and 80s it showed porn flicks. It added an additional challenge to night time approaches. It is still there and showing movies, but no more porn. However, it is still known to many as the “Skyporn.”
That’s hilarious! There was a drive-in near the highway in Springfield, Illinois, and late on weekends it played soft-porn. The highway was always clogged with teenagers parked on the shoulder watching porn until the cops started ticketing people. It was a fun way to kill a Saturday night. π
Chris my former room mate would love he’s a pot head but has a dislike for gods little creatures centipedes and spiders especially. The noise he made over a poor little spider you’d think it was bird eating tarantula from Peru. Incidentally wonder if the planes are Boeing 747, Douglas DC 9 or 10 maybe a Lockheed Tristar Laker airlines owned by Sir Freddy Laker. Brings up the next question mini dresses, mini skirts, hot pants Mary Janes, pumps, heels or go go boots on the stewardesses naturally matching the airline colours. Think Baby Blue porn movies set in New York, Miami and Los Angeles about high end executives, fashion designers, movie and TV producers. At least it’s not a crazy vet flying a armed Bell 205 HUEY, Douglas A 26 or AD skyraider so much for the party.
