For those of you new to the story, Bud licked a Mystic Frog (which was in Jeff’s pet collection) and this irritated the frog. So it put a spell on Bud and whenever he gets angry, Bud transforms into the opposite sex via a very cool “Hulk-out” type effect. Now, is L.A. ready for a transformed Bud to be loose on the city? We’ll find out next week!
“No More No More” is from Aerosmith’s 1975 “Toys In The Attic” album, which I consider their best effort. Bud has had enough and now it’s No More, No More for him. Dig on these lyrics from the end of the song as I think these fit Bud perfectly today:
“Times they’re a changin’ Nothin’ ever stands still,
If I don’t stop changin’ I’ll be writin’ out my will.
It’s the same old story Never get a second chance,
For a dance to the top of the hill.
Baby I’m a dreamer Found my horse and carriage.”

Not “No More Mr. Nice Guy” from Alice Cooper? 🙂
Oh, this is gonna be fun to watch…
so far this is by far my favorite web comic. just above ctrl+alt+del which i have been reading for years. you kick their asses outta the park. keep it up!
She wouldn’t like him when he’s angry. Just saying…
Good choice of title there, and good to hear you’re well into Aerosmith (there, something else I never knew about you). I remember the first time I heard Dream On – it was one of those worldchanging kick-upside-the-head moments that only happens every few years for me, and the song remains one of my all-time favourites. And the Toys in the Attic album kicks HARD. Age does not wither nor custom stale, y’know… 🙂
is he Hulking out???
Hmmm – he is changing in the mens room? THAT could be a realised fantasy for me, walking into the gents and finding a partly clad girly in there 🙂
Hmm… I’m thinking the Devil knows EXACTLY what she’s doing in egging along his bad mood. Something about making him sabotage his own chances, I’d wager.
Funny that this is an Aerosmith song given Buds condition. I am sure “Dude Looks Like a Lady” should be on the rotation soon. Was Bud the early inspiration for Motley Crue and glam rock??
Chill out, er – RELAX, Bud!
It seems like Bud has reached his limit. 🙂
“Toys” is definitely my favorite Aerosmith album, and I share the opinion that its probably their best ever. “No More, No More” was one of the first songs I learned to play on my guitar back in the day, the rhythm guitar line on most Aerosmith tunes is pretty easy to pick up. Joe Perry’s lead riffs are another story, entirely. Thanks for the flashbacks and Reminiscing
I love Bearman’s idea too. In fact, I think watching how Plan 9 affects the rock and roll landscape from behind the scenes as other artists are influenced by them (purposefully or not) could have just as much comedy as the group’s actual antics.
