No Grandmas were hurt in the making of this comic…
No, the comic’s title is NOT about that, er, um, TV show, but rather the David Bowie song from like 1973. Actually LOVE the Wallflowers’ version from the Godzilla soundtrack. Anyway, our “heroes” today are in a bit of trouble.
The Batmobile, or something along that lines, may show up Friday! Stay tooned, man!

Love the Dynamic Duo! Waitaminute – that’s not a bat-insignia!! : )
Funny you should mention ST: TNG. A few months back the wife and I were in Sam’s and SHE saw all the season box sets, for $40 apiece. SHE said that we had to have them. I would have preferred getting TOS first and then having them all inchronological order, but SHE hates Kirk. Loves Picard. So, we comprimised. We just finished watching “All Good Things…” and the four TNG movies over the weekend…
Since she’s a fan of Worf, too, she’s giving consideration to DS9…We’ll see. I draw the line at Voyager.
I know it always struck me as funny that the Bat and Robin couldn’t fly. Shame Bud didn’t know that though.
Happy birthday, Justin!
Ah-ha! A sharp observation finally points out that Jeff is not BATman, but POTman… yes that’s the 1977 logo on his chest!! Nice catch!
I love ST:TNG… but I skip the first 2 seasons as they just didn’t have it together, but the rest are very good. I’m not a fan of DS9 as it was “boldly going nowhere” until they got the Defient… and at that point, especially with Worf coming on-board, it was just a TNG clone. Voyager has its moments, but not enough. I am also not a fan of the TOS, but love the original six Star Trek films (KHAN!!!). There’s my Trekker moment…
🙂
RE: Kevin… I was always put off that Batman/Robin were in the Justice League rubbin’ elbows with Superman, Flash, Green Lantern and others when they were just rich humans with cool toys… anyone could do that! Hey, where has Bill Gates been spending his nights?
🙂
Great as always, Byron! Love the motion effect you did in the bottom left panel!
Thanks guy! I just copied and pasted that part of the comic in PhotoShop then reduced each one to 40% and 20% transparency then moved them up to look like his trail. There are days I wish I was animating this strip, but then others days I’m glad to just get done what I do!
🙂
It is indeed a cool motion effect 😀 and a cool comic 🙂
Happy birthday to justin as well, by the way.
Thanks, Dan! I’ll pass along your b-day wishes to Justin! (You’d think he’d read his own DAD’s comic more often, eh? 🙂 )
had he landed on my gran she would have done far worse that the joker with a crow bar lol
Old people can be really mean… I know exactly what you’re talking about. My grandmas were tough old broads. 🙂
