After 17 years, I am rebooting the comic.
There will be new storylines plus a new website! The first four comics at the new website will be an homage to my original comics, then the new stories begin. Find the new comic website by clicking here.
This website will stay here but, as of now, updates will be far and few in between. I’m proud of the work I’ve done here since 2008, and would not want to just bury all of the work I’ve done up to this point. I just feel like I can give the characters the proper attention they need to tell the real story which is Bud’s attempt to start a band and get a recording contract. That got lost here as I would ramble with various ideas that hit me at the time. The new website will be focused on the band but you still will see the character’s personal lives, but mostly how being in the band effects those lives.
With that said, I’ll depart this website with one of my favorite songs, which is Supertramp’s “Goodbye Stranger.” This song was an anthem for me back in 1979 as I was winding down my college education and learning what it took to survive in real life, not school life. I still play this song frequently as the ending guitar solo moves me as it builds to its apex and then just fades out with the song.
Already saved the feed and looking forward to the Reboot
I’ll be posting once a week on Wednesdays, so the actual new story will begin in early March once I get the past the first four which are a nod to this old comic.
