And our story starts. You’ll be seeing little hints to small conflicts in this story that will lead somewhere later on. I know you’re all pretty keen, but I like to state the obvious. 🙂
The music of Rush is outstanding. Their musicianship is more than obvious. And Geddy Lee should be a God to me as he not only plays bass, but keyboards as well. But… there’s just something in his voice that rubs me the wrong way. I find it distracting sometimes. Now of late, his voice has mellowed, which singer’s voices to as they get older. Anyway, “Fly By Night” it the perfect song to kick off our story. More next Monday!
Glad to see Bud and the gang back again!
Thanks, Bill! Good to be back.
It’s so great to have the gang back. Has Lorraine had a nose job? Not that I’m looking at her nose all that much.
My style has changed up a lot since I was in steady production of this comic. So, sure, she had a nose job. It makes sense as later on in life she has a lot of cosmetic surgery done. 🙂
Beats the crap out of Janesway, Wisconsin, I see..
Yes, it does. I am not going to go back to that camping story. It was written at the height of my depression last year and did not have a solid foundation. Not that my stories are that solid to begin with, but that one was an unfortunate side-effect of my depression. But, it did have a great cover. 🙂
Huge Rush fan and fellow bass player checking in. I DO love Geddy but found I had to drive home from the last concert in silence. it becomes fatiguing after three hours of Rush in concert.
Sharp-looking strip Byron. Keep it up.
Yes, I have to take Geddy in very small doses. Muscially, I dig their stuff, but man, can his voice be grating after a while. As you know first hand. THREE HOURS?! Wow, that’s a long concert no matter who’s playing. 🙂
Artwork looks real good. Looking forward to the new comics.
Thanks, Eric! I’ve been working hard to improve my skills and put more effort into these full page comics.
They must be successful flying in their own Gulf stream 5 twin engine business jet I hope it does crash or they are going to pay lots of insurance.
