For those of you who have never had the “pleasure” of being in the prone position on the front of a squad car… the policeman is NOT being weird and has his hand on Jeff’s back.Β Now their knee is another story…
Thus ends our Neighborhood Watch story.Β We pick up with Jeff and Bud moving back home and finding another couch to sit on.Β
Today’s comic title is from the great Molly Hatchet hit of 1979. I have the single! “Travelin’ down the road, flirtin’ with disaster…” Perfection!
π
PS: I’ve been informed by my son that he feels most everyone does NOT know that it is illegal to conceal your identity in public by wearing masks and stuff.Β Bank robbers do that you know… but anyway, it is indeed against the law, but Bud and Jeff are gettin’ busted mainly because cops are not fans of the younger set.Β I’ll put it this way… I can blast down the highway in my “old man” van doing nearly 80MPH and the kid behind me in the small sports car gets busted.Β Sucks to be you…
π
Molly Hatchet!
Cool!
Man, please tell me you have drawn that Pontiac in a higher resolution…say, like, err…1920×1200?
And that you are thinking, about, maybe…drawing the gang on it and releasing the final art as a KICKIN ASS wallpaper? π
(and the crowd chants)
PONTIAC WALLPAPER!!!
PONTIAC WALLPAPER!!!
Christmas is coming!
π
Yes, and well, yes! Getting them all in the car has been a bit “fun” but I think I’ll manage it here pretty quick! I’ll post it up here in the next week.
Oh… I draw all my stuff at 600DPI just for the reason in case I ever need to print any of it… which I’m nearly done compiling the first book collection.
Can’t we all just get along?
LOL, I saw Molly Hatchet as the opening act to Jethro Tull in Tampa once. (I think it was Tampa.) Anyway, I’m pretty sure it was a great show. I don’t seem to remember all of it thoughβ¦
For what it’s worth, I didn’t pick up on the mask thing either. I assumed the were speeding or something.
Who didn’t open for Jethro Tull? Those were the days…
Yeah, the masked thing being illegal isn’t first on everyone’s minds… but it was mine and that’s how weird my little brain can be at times! But, gettin’ busted is the funny part anyway, so what for doesn’t really matter.
π
RE: Ebenezer “all get along” Peace, Love, Harmony and all that 60s crap… but realize that most of the people in power today are from the 60s and we can point some fingers at the “hippies” for being so greedy on us! π
I have two sisters of that age and they’re nothing like they were back in the 60s! It was my oldest sister who first introduced me to pot as well, so this is all her fault!
π
I always tought like “Bud is the brains, Jeff is the ‘second in charge'”. Why did you choose to costume Jeff as Batman?
(Sorry, bad English, bad English…I really couldn’t find a better way to write this question… :D)
Oh, Bud is in charge… it is his group… Jeff’s too laid back. But, I drew Bud as Robin mainly because I always wanted a Robin outfit to wear when I was younger… thought it was too cool… and since Bud is kinda a cartoon version of me, he ended up as Robin. I hadn’t thought about top-banana, so next time I’ll have Bud wear the Batman suit! Also, it was Jeff’s car…
π
PS: Your English is fine… better then some Americans… π
