So, Budette returns. She’ll have a week to solve the puzzle the Mystic Frog has left behind. And try to explain to his neighbors who that naked chick was that was screaming at a frog out his kitchen window. It was the ’70s.
Some Bowie for your hump-day as Bud goes through some changes of his own.
I’m guessing the neighbors will be mostly puzzled by how the naked girl knew their names. I’m assuming they won’t know that’s Bud.
No, they have no idea who it is. 🙂
That’s what he gets for always going around without his shirt on.
Damn shirts… 🙂
Mr Peterson is hiding his delight very very well. 🙂
Well, as a married man, Mr. Peterson knows NOT to ogle a sexy woman too long as that’s fodder for an argument later on with the wife. 🙂
LOL as a fellow happily married man, I understand perfectly. “The nerve of that neighbor of ours! Gah!” 😉
Does Bud realize his bazonga bombers will return again, via the magic of middle age?!? [mooobs] [smirk]
They’re just nearly as sexy… 😛
If they ever do a 1977 movie, this transformation scene should be in it. This reminds me of a movie from the 70’s called Dr. Jeckyll and Mrs. Hyde, where the protagonist changed from a man into a woman, instead of a horrible id-driven monster. But the transformation effect was never all that great.
A live action film of 1977 would rock. It wouldn’t be that hard either. A set for Jeff’s house, a crumby bar set, a garage for them to rehears in and some cars. The rest is all simple matching the clothing of the ’70s.
I really should look into it, as a video producer, it would not be that hard.
😛
Oh you just have to do this! 😀
“That 70’s Show” was amongst my favourite US comedy shows, and that was tame compared to what 1977 can come up with! 😀
Yeah, I’m gonna have to. An “adult” version of the what the 70s was really like. 🙂
The 1977 movie would be simple enough. The music rights would be the difficult part, I’m sure.
As luck would have it, I just recently gained some experience and insight working with some folks over at Warner Bros. Music Group. Now wasn’t that interesting, eh? Hmmm… what could I have up my sleeve…
🙂
Hey Byron, I just wanted to say your drawings get better all the time.
Thanks, Stephen! The reason I do the comic is to challenge myself as an artist and improve my craft. I would not be where I’m at if not for doing this comic year-in and year-out.
Byron,
Great to see the strip back up. Your art is great and I’m looking forward to seeing where this storyline goes!
Rock On!
Thanks, man! Good to be back! 🙂
Like wow man, its good to see you back in action.
And reading the comic to Reelin In The Years
Hello Me!
No better song to read a 70s comic!
Who would ever suspect that a mystic frog is a booby trap. 😛
~rim shot~ Dave’s here all weekend. Have the beef and tip your waitress…
🙂
my I didn’t know bud was so darn sexy. I think he makes a hotter chick than Lorraine
Remember, one of Bud’s sisters is a Playboy Playmate, so good lookin’ women run in the family. 😉
one of his sisters? i thought he only had the one.
Bud, like me, has three older sisters. We’ve only met the one thus far.
So you are back, and my custom Variations of Bud mug is not as obsolete as I thought!
Indeed, your mug is once again in style. 🙂
also, “Changes” by Black Sabbath fits the mood here…
“Vol. 4” is their best album in my opinion. I try to post more upbeat songs, but that song is a cool song and would have fit as well. 🙂
Boobies!!!! Sorry but it had to be said!
And you’re welcome to say it any time. 🙂
Who cares Bud your hot looking girl think of all the sexy outfits and lesbian action. Mean while the poor little frog gets on the muppet show and is terrorized by a pig like puppet assuming a larger creature like a bass does not eat him first.
