Hairstylists of the world ASSEMBLE!! And rid the world of smart-ass young men!
Who can’t dig a chick with a chainsaw? Unless she’s gonna turn you from a rooster to a hen…
A little 70s nod today with the “Six Million Dollar Man” showing up on the boy’s t-shirt. SMDM was everywhere in the 70s and had people running in slow motion and going “NA-NA-NA-NA” as if they were really booking it at about 70MPH. Lots of fun at bars… um, well, for me at least.
I am doing a desktop of Lorraine welding her chainsaw. A more subtle pose from today’s comic, but still will make your desktop a lot more fun to stare at.
I don’t know (well, let’s say remember) much about the group Gunhill Road except that I happen to have purchased this very single back in the day and it spent a more than a few hours on my BIC turntables in high school.  Yep, ordered my BIC turntable right out of National Lampoon. Heh, those were the days…
We take a break from Lorraine on Friday for some good old fashioned beer drinking with Bud. Come on back for that!
**********************
Be strong. Just because this huge step forward in complex and interesting storylines that don’t feature Bud and Jeff being stoned isn’t getting the usual flood of comments, it doesn’t mean that you should go backwards. They’ll evolve to meet you 😀
i totally agree with this. don’t fork back because it might appear that there’s lack of interest. i’m totally interested in seeing more of lorraine and robyn’s racks^h^h^h^h hijinks.
😀
Hey now! All I have to do is look at my stats and know there’s *plenty* of interest in the current storyline… I mean, come on, boobs rock the world!
But I’ve got a Bud joke to get out, so Friday seems like a good day to do that. But, if everyone wants me to stay on Lorraine a bit more, then who am I to deny that?
🙂
I suspect everybody wants to ~coughs~ stay on Lorraine anyway 😛
Oh, Lorraine is inventive!
If you get paid by the haircut, Lorraine is just being efficient. If you cut faster, you get more tips… So what if they are missing an ear or two?
🙂
Daisy Duke with a Chainsaw! Holy dang I love to see a beautiful woman riled up … It’a gonna be a massacree! 😀
(I was kinda expecting Almost Cut My Hair by CSNY. I suppose there’s still plenty of opportunity for that someday. This Gunhill Road tracj sounds like Weird Al … 😉 )
I chose today’s song because it refers to back *when* my hair was short… a subtle reference to how Lorraine is going to cut his hair. I reached a bit on that one, but that’s how this old fart’s brain works.
🙂
I luv it!!!
Revenge is a sweet, sweet thing… and Lorraine is easy on the eyes!
😛
So much for your strength “six million dollar man” huh. haha
LOL! Yeah, his bionics went cold on him… remember if Steve got cold his bionics wouldn’t work? “Hey Steve, why you standing out in the snow storm? … Oh, yeah…” They didn’t use that plot line much after the first season.
You have to give her props tho for actually changing her outfit. Now he is going to be mixed on what he was feeling. Fear and lust… later in life he probably gets into S & M type stuff. Good on her.
Lorraine is always true to her word. There’s just a price for her honesty sometimes!
😛
I LOVE my chainsaw. Too bad I am not gifted with that sort of rack (although, gravity might affect that sort of thing at my age… 50.)
Ah, at our age Gail, gravity is a mean mistress indeed. All types of things going south that once pointed north.
But, like a fine wine, we get better with age.
😛
The important thing, though, is – as Billy Connolly once so elegantly put it – that our arses are *still* pointing south 😀
*laughs* So, was she drawing inspiration from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, or from Claudia Jennings in Gator Bait? 🙂
http://www.savagecinema.com/gatorbaitbox.jpg
Unknowingly, Gator Bait. Never heard or seen the film… until now. Saw the trailer and damn, I was close to her outfit!
(PS: Just found your comment in the Spam folder… sorry about that!)
A hormonal woman with a nice rack and a chainsaw is a recipe for death! I should know… I’m married to it! o.O rruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnn….
Okay, we’re gonna pictures… 🙂
yup, that should take care of him. Love the spikey hair … but that goes without saying.
Ah, the “I’m scared out of my wits” hair style I do. You can thank Scooby Doo for that look.
Maybe that’s where you get your hair styles? 🙂
Hey, I Though that Lorrianes Eyes Where blue? i was just wondering.
Also i like this new Lorriane Eye Expression. It’s pretty Fab.
and my last Question…Who’s That Little Old Man?
New eyes folks… I decided that all my female character can’t have blue eyes, so I’m doing some subtle changes in the pupils. I got tired of the way I was drawing the female eyes and finally settled on this.
I’m sure they’ll change again, I’m never done growing my style.
Little Old Man? The kid? If you think he’s a little old man, you need reading glasses worse then me…
😛
ha ha. no, it’s a beatles quote from there Movie, A Hard Day’s Night. i ask people just to see what people. but we all know it’s Paul’s Grandfather.
Ah, yes, he’s a clean man…
Got it! You snuck that one by me.
🙂
‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ would have been a helluva lot scarier if Leatherface had dressed like that (looks all right on her, though).
Yeah, I was going to have Lorraine wearing a mask as a nod to that movie (which came out in like 1974) but I thought the “Daisy Duke” look would be more popular, and it seems I was right…
🙂
Omg epic win!!
Lorraine is epic… but threatening the kid with a chain saw is even better!
🙂
I’ve missed your weirdness while I was gone! lol
“The Six Million Dollar Man” was one of my favorites when I was growing up too, but I preferred the drum cadence from the intro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HofoK_QQxGc
Yep, the line “I’ve got a blow-out in damper three…” always brought a chill to my spin. The crash was coming and Steve Austin would become the Six Million Dollar Man. Nice clip! Hard to find any video on SMDM or even on DVD.
I remember the first few (6?) episodes being 90 minutes “mini-movies” or so until the series kicked off. I’d love to get the entire collection to torture my kids and wife with…
🙂
you know, that outfit she’s wearing looks remarkably similar to the one from “Gator Bait”…
Holy crap, I missed that on in 1974. I mean, the trailer gave it all away, so why bother watching the film… oh, yeah, the lady in the outfit that Lorraine is wearing!
Thanks for giving me yet another “good” 70s reference material! 🙂
Heeee! I made the Gator Bait connection too, but my post seems to have been blocked because I added a link (to a poster from that film) onto the end of the post. 🙂
Fixed. I try to look at the Spam folder, but missed that one. 🙂
Have an ambulance standing by “Lucky” Lorraine within a 1/4 mile of any living thing with a power tool of any sort, let alone a chain saw…OMG!
{Memo to self: stock up on red ink.]
Hey Byron!!! thought I would stop in and say howdy!!!! Working on CD #2 and so far, it kicks ass (if I am be so bold to brag)!!! You are on the short list to get one as soon as they are ready!!!
