A small break from Latvia to see how things are going while Bud and Jeff are away from home (a great BTO song from their “Head On” album).
For those of you with short attention spans… Poco is Jeff’s pet dragon lizard and when he turned a year old, he started sneezing fire. Makes for interesting days I’d say…
Fear not, I’m not going all serious on y’all… Friday’s comic will answer the suspense-filled cliff hanger of today! 🙂
Also, I hate when I change a comic at the last moment. This was a TOTALLY different script as of last night, then inspiration hit me about 8:00pm and I decided to change it ALL and start over, thus why I posted it this morning. I hate being creative…
Too funny. My scripts change constantly. It used to bug me, but now I just throw up my hands and say “Whatever.” Usually the new thing is WAY funnier than the old one anyway.
So… what would you say your favorite thing to draw is…?
RE: Script changes. I agree, they’re always better, but couldn’t I come up with these changes before 8:00pm the night before the comic is due? What is it with us creative types? We get really good just before a deadline… 🙂
I love drawing creatures like Poco… I am so much better at cartoon animals then people. I guess it’s from watching Warner Bros. cartoons all my life, it just comes naturally. My first “comic” idea was a college student’s dog and the comic was drawn all from the dog’s perspective, so you only saw like feet and legs. It was a fun comic, and it’s buried in my college crap somewhere… I will dig it out someday and see how really bad it was… 🙂
So the naked women are just for practice then. 😉
LOL! Yes. Yes they are! 🙂
Actually, I really suck at drawing women, so I’ve been forcing myself to write comics with Robyn and Lorraine in them so I have to draw the female body. Kinda weird drawing the semi-nakes ones as the sketches start off nude. I catch my 11 year old watching me draw more now too… hmmm…
