Welcome back my friends…
Of course the first comic I decide to create in four years ends up not only being a two-part comic but also a difficult one (wait until you see the second page).
These comics will be the final ones I’ll be producing for 1977 as the time has come to close the book on this chapter of my life. More as the final comics post. Nope! That’s changed! Keep on reading!
Way back in 1974, Jim Stafford had a fun and goofy hit with “I Don’t Like Spiders and Snakes” produced by Lobo! Yes, the “Me and You and a Dog Named Boo” guy. Stafford would have four singles enter the Top 40 in 1974 from his self-titled album. The ’70s were a weird time for Top 40 songs, we had all types of crap on the radio back then.
Welcome back. What more is there to say?
Thank you!
Nice to see you back again.
Thank you! I’m feeling good about the return this time. My life is a bit more in order now.
You KNOW I’m happy seeing this.
You know I know you know you are. 🙂
Nice to see you back. I’ve missed this.
You and me both, man. I’m very glad to be back.
Yippee Ki Yaa, Cow Patty.
You just can’t say “Yippee Ki Yaa” without saying “motherfucker” anymore. “Die Hard” made sure of that. But “Cow Patty” wins the Internet today. 🙂
Great to see you back! Hey, Bud, I hear they’re having a sale on Spider-Man suits. You might be needing one soon.
I’m thinking Jeff may want it. Bud’s a Lone Ranger/Star Wars fan. 🙂
Glad to see you back in action!!! Welcome back!
ZIGGY! My man, how are you? Just saw the Undun comic I did back in the day, and still have the CD.
It looks like a crab spider even though spiders have eight eyes not just two but her glare is kind of cute mommy spider. It could be a funnel web spider if they are native to Illinois USA hopefully not the deadly Sidney funnel web that lives in Australia that some how is in Bud and Jeff home. Wonder if she’ll have baby spiders or spiderlets like in the story Charlotte’s web. Remember evicting a mommy wolf spider form the house to a tree I imagine she was giving me a good glaring the poor dear and cute spiderlets. Guess Bud or Budditt won’t be a spider lady and that basement not creepy I’ve seen worse.
Well, it’s just a spider I made up, and it actually has four eyes, there are two tiny ones next to the big ones. In the Midwest, Wolf spiders are very common and can be big ugly things that leap really fast. I had some making nests on our deck one year and I sprayed them, and man, did they move FAST. Seeing a big Wolf spider in the house can be unnerving, especially for me as I hate spiders. They really creep me out.
