ACTION! Or something like that. Continuing my parody of “Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom” we’re watching as the crew films the “natives” of the island hunting rituals. But, look out, Lorraine is about to kick some wild boar ass! Look for the references from “Gilligan’s Island” and “Lost” as well!
The Sweet were on my top play list in the ’70s. Followed them from their pop “Little Willy” days (I have that single) as they progressed into a great rock band. Everyone knows their songs, just unfortunately covered by other bands or from film soundtracks. Ah, well. Enjoy a little ACTION! for your Monday.

Or maybe the others all realized that if they killed Gilligan their hairbrained schemes to get off the island would work.

It’s said the greatest mystery of “Gilligan’s Island” is why the other castaways don’t kill him.
The lead singer looks a little like Michael McKean. Part of me expcted the drummer to explode at the end of the song.

This is one crazy island, Gilligan, Pumbaa, The Dharma Initiative and our cast of rockers. Can’t wait to see what pops up next.

The identity of the VW Microbus in the last panel eludes me at the moment, though.
It’s from the TV series “Lost” and is one of the Dharma VW vans.
