1977 the Comic

The title is a big nod of the hat to dear old George Carlin… his humor inspired me years ago, and I’m sure bits of him show up in 1977 all the time without my knowing it… Going to miss that old fart…

I also got a great compliment saying that this series of comics (Jeff vs. Squirrel) reminded folks of Chuck Jones… so I HAD to put in the classic huge slingshot for this semi-final comic. I love Jeff’s pose and expression… like “In two seconds you’re toast!”

And as all good military folks will tell you, have a great plan B in the ready AND know your enemy. The squirrel KNOWS Jeff’s weakness and a truce has been called… perhaps a smoking of the peace pipe will be later…
