A mere 15 hours ago I sat down to what was suppose to be a very simple Monday, the first day of the week. I got ready to post this entry and decided I’d get started on a DVD project first. Well, 15 hours “flew” by and the DVD is done (more in a moment) and this post is going to see the “light of day” on the internet finally.
I don’t author many DVDs and those that I do are usually very simple (corporate type crap). But this one had 5 levels of sub-menus and videos on each one. Never done that before. The hard part was getting all the videos “branded” the same. I had to change the opening and closing for 6 videos. Not complicated, but time consuming. Then, I finally got to authoring the DVD. After much trial and error (and at one point you think you’ve really fucked up by thinking you could do something like this) and suddenly you’re on the right path. Love the internet. Google your questions and usually in a small amount of time, your answer is found! I learn best by experiementing and this was no different. Now to remember it all… 🙂
Today’s comic draws its title from a little know Who album from 1971 that essentially was a greatest hits album of their early stuff (Boris the Spider, etc.) and nothing from Tommy or Who’s Next. But, a great title none the less. Fits right in!
Dude, “Pinball Wizard”, from _Tommy_, is on _MBB&B_. It was released by the record company while they were waiting for Townshend to finish _Life House_, which became _Who’s Next_ when he couldn’t make it work.
