The title says it all… in binary. Google it… 😀
My very first computer was a Radio Shack Model III, an all-in-one model that featured DUAL floppy drives, 64K RAM and a 64-character display in lovely green. It cost me around $3000 then the dot-matrix printer was like $1200 then a bit later I added a daisy-wheel printer so my documents looked type written! All that so I could write my novel, which ended up sucking anyway. Live that dream baby! 🙂 I also remember joining CompuServe and actually buying a couch from some company, with no pictures! Go on!
So today’s strip is dedicated to those fools, er, folks who bought those first computers with the idea they could write such lovely BASIC programs like a checkbook program and the like.
My first computer was a Commodore Vic-20 that my parents got for me. It had a whopping 3.5 K of RAM, while the operating system was stored in 1.5 K. And yeah, I used a tape drive to store my programs.
Wow all of you come from wealthier families than mine.
My first computer was a Commodore that parents got for listening in to a timeshare pitch. The timeshare people were really annoyed that my parents were so poor they could not rope them into spending money.
We could not afford the tape drive or floppy. Ours had the membrane keyboard.
The first real computer I got was a 486 overclocked. That was in 1993-1994. I always wanted a computer but my dad spent money on cars instead. Family of gear heads.
I had build my first computer in college. I work in my colleges computer lab, only geek in the family.
Like 01101000011001010110110001101100 I’ll google it. I finally got tired of all the 01100100011000010110110101101110 posts in various comics in binary, so I finally wrote myself an 011001010110011001100110011010010110111000100111 translator.

I shall take that… and I do have a life… and thank you for reading!

Well a good old fuck right back at you
Thank you! 🙂
