Hey, I couldn’t resist this Kiss reference… also, this is about as full frontal as 1977 is gonna get for the time being. I’ve been wanting to get away from boob jokes, but I had a few left in my system and thought with Valentine’s day just around the corner, I’d set the bar up a notch for you guys and gals with your special someone(s). Have fun, I enjoyed the hell out of drawing this one!
Exile’s 1978 single “Kiss You Over” was a rather annoying song and it got played on the hour every hour. But, I couldn’t help NOT use it for today’s comic title despite the song being a tad gag inducing.
Even though 1983’s “Lick It Up” album featured Kiss *NOT* in their makeup, I added this song as it’s a fun Kiss song and also fits today’s comic theme as well. Crank it.

I love it. I’ve seen Kiss three times, they were my favorite band growing up–any Kiss-related strip is OK in my book 😀

I’ll be wearing a star on my face for this summer’s KISS concert… but I’m putting it there myself!
I was a huge kiss fan back in the day, I had front row center in 79 when they had the Dynasty tour. Frankly I regret it, I missed all the acts I got to love later because I was too busy using precious teen bucks to go to to KISS shows. Now most of those acts are broken up and/or members have died. Live and learn I guess.
Somewhere around Pink Floyd the Wall, I woke up to the fact that Kiss was about as musically complex as an all kazoo orchestra. “I quit altogether when they dumped Ace” Went through their stuff again last year and I’m embarrassed to realize how misogynistic they were. And more so Gene’s very low opinion of his fans.
And lets not forget the beginning of the end “Kiss Meets The Phantom of the Park” available at a bittorent near you. As someone who has every MST3k epp ever made, I want to say, this has to be the most pathetic, embarrassing movie ever made by anyone. Ed Wood wound have been embarrassed.
