A bit of a twist for ol’ Bud. Obviously he likes girls but he’s not use to the, oh, operator’s manual of his current state. We’ll have to see where this goes.
The Beatles. Yes, the band that Paul McCartney was in before Wings. I think their best album by any shadow of a doubt is “Abbey Road” as it was their best produced effort (the recording of the drums stands out even today) and featured a diverse set of sounds from the silly “Octopus’s Garden” to the delightful “Here Comes the Sun” to the rockin’ “The End” which is on the verge of actually being hard rock. The Beatles shut up long enough to give us a classic rock album that no one should be without. But, it seems Apple is big on keeping the Beatles’ songs off websites like Grooveshark (where I get the songs to post here), so instead I give you “Lola” from the Kinks, which also fits today’s comic, but kinda backwards. Oh, Grooveshark did have a version of “Polythene Pam” but it was done by the Bee Gees from the wretched “Sgt. Peppers” film done in the late 70s. Gag me with a 9 iron, that film was bad.
I picked Lennon’s “Polythene Pam” for the single line “You should see Polythene Pam. She’s so good lookin’ that she looks like man…” Wonderful lyric from Lennon and typical of his style.

Oh this might be an interesting time for the Budette to change back…… either after or during their misadventure………… Bud might be soooooooo dead if that happens……
That rather depends on how he handles the next episode. Having him change back after a Close Encounter Of The Best Kind and precipitate a mega-cootie moment from the cute daughter of Sapho would be sorta predictable, so I doubt this is going that way.
Odd that she-bud would be picked up by a chick in a bar where hetero harrasment was taking place. My experience has been that these things have their place, and that place is not the same place as the other place.
Before you speculate, my first contract in the US was for a site in Greenwich Village. All the local watering holes were full of tolerant but off-limits ladies, and gentlemen who could tell who was just passin’ through and were surprisingly tolerant (unless they thought you were coming to the zoo to see the animals, in which case you could find yourself in for some performance theater).
No doubt this unexpected venue is part of an elaborate plot set-up. I’m eagerly waiting to see what Byron has planned.

“Lola” is one of my favorite songs. I was kind of disappointed when the double-CD best of the Kinks album I picked up didn’t include it. Oh well, plenty of other good tracks on it.
“Polythene Pam” is also great, as was most of what the Beatles did. I like /Abbey Road/, though it’s not my favorite Beatles album. I don’t really have a permanent favorite, actually, it shifts with my mood. /A Hard Day’s Night/ used to be my least favorite, but after seeing the film again for the first time in years the other night my opinion of it has gone up a fair bit.
Oh don’t date Buddet if you are a lesbian she’ll change sex when excited and you’ll be disappointed but I love Buddet’s top. Buddet doesn’t need a make over she looks great now if she could find a miniskirt and heels that top would look better.
