Rhonda to the rescue!  Updated hairdo… centerfolds do that you  know! And she’s made centerfold of the year! Now what will that bring Bud?

Notice Bud’s impression still in the side of the van? Also note that there are four vendor tents in frame three and they are all serving some variation on dogs… cheese, hot, corn & fried.  Plus I toss in Jed Clampet’s famous “well, doggies” in the same frame.  Kinda a doggie frame.

This comic sends our redneck brothers off on a high note, and Jeff still flirting with the hot sister.  Guitar players do that, the little snots…

“Help Me, Rhonda” is a Beach Boys song that was not only their 2nd number 1 hit single in 1965, but one with a bit of history too.  One, Al Jardine sings the lead vocal, which was rare at the time.  Brian Wilson had taken over production in the studio from his father, and during the recording of the single version of the song, the father bursts into the studio and bitches out Brian who finally explodes.  All on tape for the masses to hear.  The father was a bit of a dick, BTW…  The album version of the song sucks, and on the Beach Boys biggest hits collection back in the 70s called “Endless Summer” they put the ALBUM version on instead of the single version.  I was crushed at the time.  What a rip.
