You always imagine the giraffes as these big, soft animals that just live for human interaction like a well trained dog or horse.  But, cross those sons of bitches and you’ve got trouble.  The giraffes are only the beginning of Jeff’s animal woes at the zoo. In my researching of giraffes, I found out that male giraffes are sometimes called “stinky bulls” as their coat emits a rather foul smell due to the antibacterials agents in the fur.  But, they have tongues to die for and can only imagine the French kissing those two are gonna get into after a few more tokes on Jeff’s prime stash.

So, Def Leppard fits into my loophole of 70s because they formed at the end of the 70s and by making their name look like Led Zeppelin (the name was Deaf Leopard, but was quickly changed to look like Zep’s name).  And the video for “Animal” was just strange enough for me to include it as today’s comic title.  If my fading memory serves, “Hysteria” was the first album to be released with a video to support each song.  Plus, the album was longer, nearly an hour long, to help fill up the fledgling CD format.  With some crunching, they were able to press 30 minutes of music per side on the vinyl releases.  Most BTO albums were only 30 minutes in total, not per side!  Trivia Mondays…
