Today’s title is from a 1957 classic Sci-Fi film. Breathing in some radioactive insecticides (man, those are some freakin’ tough bugs if you need RADIOACTIVE insecticides!) our hero starts to shrink. The novel features more “sexual” tension with the shrinking man and his wife but the movie was very well done for it’s time and is a good watch even today. So, with Bud concerned over “shrinkage” at the Nudist Colony, the title seemed to fit right in.
Note from 2023: I got a LOT of crap for doing a shrinky-dink dick joke back when this first came out. Seems it’s okay when TV shows or other comics did it, just not me. I was also getting a ton of crap about how I drew anatomy. Hey, I had only been drawing for a year at this point in time and I was self -taught, so I had a LOT to learn. Luckily, I did get better and those jerks went on to troll other comics.

Also, in Panel-5 it’s not clear that Bud’s word-balloon is from Bud until you read it’s contents.
Nice catch… yeah the word bubble should point out the side to him… kinda looks like Robyn might be saying it! See, us artists are so wrapped up in our own stuff, we know whos’s talking! Thanks for pointing it out!
