Man, the old fart cartoonist can’t keep the days straight in this weird “Monday came on a Tuesday” week.  Also, day off my ass… I’m having to cram 5 days of work into 4 days.  Bullshit on holidays, man.  So, here’s Wednesday’s comic on this week’s Wednesday.  If you don’t follow, just go light a joint… then it won’t matter.

Ah, crabby customers who get mad over one “little” mistake like the wrong hair color.  Then, you get fired after a customer yells at you.  Yes, Lorraine is getting ready to cry in the last panel.  Those who make our lead singer cry shall pay in due time.  I’m all about revenge, have you noticed?

🙂

Anyway, I’ll try and have the follow up on Friday, the real Friday.  If not, it’ll pop up Saturday.  Sorry about the confusion!

Three Dog Night. Hate ’em, Love ’em, either way you cannot ignore the amount of Top 40 singles they cranked out in their career.  From 1969 to 1971, there wasn’t a month go by where a TDN single didn’t get released it seemed like.  I was turned on to TDN by my middle sister who had all their albums (and somehow they ended up in my record bin one day… hmmm…)  Also, having nothing but AM radio to listen to, how could I *not* like some of their music?  My favorite is “Out In The Country” which is a super mellow song, but reminds me of my days on the farm.  I shall return there someday soon… land is cheap again these days.
