I split my side at this comic every time I read it. But then, I should… Being a completely normal kid in 1964 when I got my first blond GI Joe, I immediately set about having Joe pick up my sister’s Barbie. She had Ken’s sports car and Joe would take it over and hijack Barbie off to some secluded part of my bedroom… a land where my sisters dared not tread as it was littered with many, many loose toys and Lincoln Log parts. Booby traps… heh, booby…

I do not have any GI Joes today as they were lost in one of two floods my family endured in the 70s. I lost about $20,000 (in today’s collector market) of toys and stuff including the original Switch and Go “Lost In Space” set… oh, the pain.

Last time as your remember… roxysteve mentioned tossing some song titles at me, and like a good comic artist, I actually read the posts and Bearman tossed out the Raspberries’ 1972 hit “Go All The Way” which Barbie has done today much to Ken’s chagrin.
