Okay, I did A LOT this weekend, even a Sunday comic for Easter and I just ran out of steam and time.  I will update this comic at some point Monday, but until then at least we all have this.  Actually, in a more finished form, I would not mind this format.  I am a sketch artist… I’z lovez me pencil drawings.  I’m not hinting even the slightest that 1977 will go in this direction, I’m just passing along that I enjoy the pencil versions.

If you’re viewing this for the first time, nevermind… if not, it’s been updated! 🙂

Oh, the title… a little old group out of London town back in the mid-70s calling themselves Japan.  Say what, gov’nor?  Anyway, they released their first album in 1978, but their 3rd album was appropriately titled for today’s comic.  I did some research on songs about Polaroids, and they were either a tad filthy, or really, really depressing as in Alice Cooper’s 1978 song called “Quiet Room” which indeed does mention Polaroids he’s put up in the “quiet room” where he contemplates killing himself.  Happy tune, there, Alice old boy!  Eek…  But, I liked this one and went with it!

More later!  Oh, check out the FaceBook page too and become a fan!

Did you find the egg in my archives?  Search Aqualung and you’ll find it right away.  It goes away later Monday as well…

🙂
